What is the women's ministry?
 
Women Ministry  is Jesus-centred. It's all about helping other women to come to Christ and grow in Christ.
 
It's about encouraging women to understand the gospel, respond to the gospel and apply the gospel to every aspect of life. Women ministry  is an important arm of the church. The women help to support the work of the local ministry. The aim is to ensure every woman in this congregation has the opportunity to:
 
Hear the voice of God and respond to the gospel (Acts 16:13-15) And this happens when women engage with God through his Word and prayer, in the community of the local church.
 
Grow in godliness (Ephesians 4:22) Teaches women how to be responsible both in the church and at home.
 
Be equipped for service (Ephesians 4:12)To equip women to develop a real knowledge and awareness of who they are in Christ and the role they play as women of God in their homes and in society.
 
Be active  in making disciples (Matthew 28:16-20) This ministry also helps the needy in the church, brings women together to share the word of God in simplicity and comes together for prayers regularly.
 
Beyond that - there are many forms that women's ministry can take!
 
Women help in so many areas in the church which includes the following:
 
They help as co- labourers with men as counterparts in the vineyard. The role of women is to create a clean and  warm environment where people come and fellowship freely with one another in the atmosphere of agape love in the church. The women ministry help in caring and teaching children in the way of the Lord. How to be industrious and to be economically successful according to Proverbs 31: from vs 10 - 31. They are the group that heads the hospitality and welfare department.
